MoveMEN!
Strength in vulnerability.
Movement, Meditation & Mindful Dialogue — for anyone who identifies as male.
A safe space and community for men to support each other through life's ups and downs — relationships, work, career, parenting, finances, stress, limiting beliefs, inner critic and more.

About
A community of men, supporting each other through life's ups and downs.
We meet to do meaningful inner growth work using the wisdom of the body and the strength of a community of like-mindful men.
MoveMEN! is a safe space for men in Hong Kong navigating mid-life challenges — relationships, work, parenting, identity, finances, self-doubt, anger, feeling lost or stuck.
We do this by practising mindful awareness — connecting mind and body to bring greater clarity to our challenges, so we can learn and grow together.
Nobody has to share anything sensitive. Our process is designed to be accessible for those with no mindfulness practice, and trauma aware.

Who it's for
For men who want to feel better and be better.
MoveMEN! is for anyone who identifies as male and wants a safe, skilfully guided space to do meaningful inner work and connect with like-minded men in a community of support and spirit of learning together from whatever challenges we are facing. No advice, fixing or performance. Whatever your situation or challenges, you are welcome here!

Your host
Facilitated by Brian Henderson.
I founded MoveMEN! when I realised I didn't have any guy friends I could turn to for emotional support. But I did have transformative wisdom practices I learned in my recovery from burnout and job loss that I wanted to share.
I'm a certified mindful meditation teacher, an adaptive yoga teacher, a Mental Health and Suicide First Aider, and Emotional Freedom Techniques practitioner. I have tried countless self-care and nervous system regulation techniques and I know what works and why. There's science behind everything I share.
From the circle
What men say about being in the group.
Brian is one of the most mindful men in Hong Kong
— Sertac Brian makes you feel like it all might just be ok
— Rishi I really liked the structure of mini-yoga, pranayams (breath work) and meditations. Not many classes do that!

What we do
Join an evening session, breakfast or retreat.
Our core sessions are weekday evenings, usually every two weeks. We tackle a mid-life challenge in each session eg stress, triggers, parenting, careers, finances, relationships, anger, feeling stuck etc. Sessions are 1.5 hours and include movement, breath work, meditation and mindful dialogue. Other modalities may be incorporated as well. Cost HKD350, or whatever you can afford - we know the people who need this community most may not be able to afford it, and we encourage them to join us anyway, no questions asked. Once a month we have a breakfast social and discuss whatever is on our minds. Buy your own breakfast. Once a quarter we get away for a Saturday retreat, usually to Lamma, to give us time to slow down and relax more and go deeper. Price includes practice; buy your own lunch; additional activities at cost. All events are on the Calendly, and a few other things that may be of interest - https://calendly.com/brian-hendersonhk.
